Spark are looking to build their presence in the UK and leverage the amazing relationships they already have in Ireland, with some brilliant European brands.
We are looking for a Marketing & New Business Manager who will help put Spark UK on the map via comprehensive marketing and sales & prospecting activity; working out of the Leeds office.
Our mission is to start a tech-powered, research revolution demonstrating the Spark difference to the bravest and best clients across the world. We are an Irish research agency growing our UK focus and we need a determined and experienced self-starter who will relish the challenge of making Spark’s presence felt across the UK and Ireland. This role will own all elements of the Spark marketing mix, driving awareness of what the Spark Difference means for clients.
You will have the support and services of the full agency to make this happen and will work closely with senior leaders and our partner agencies to drive and manage the Spark brand across all channels. This role is key to the delivery of our marketing strategy across UK, Ireland and International Markets.
This role is responsible for managing and implementing all the sales and marketing activities for Spark, growing our awareness and attracting new business. Oversees all of the promotional materials, external communications and sales and marketing campaigns, as well as managing and coordinating prospecting and follow through activity. Reports directly to Managing Director and Managing Partner.
Grow Awareness of Spark in the UK and Irish market, attracting clients to Spark through outward communication of our differentiated proposition
Identify and implement marketing and prospecting initiatives to achieve business targets and manage these through sales CRM system
Manage the day-to-day marketing of Spark, working closely with wider team for input and planning
Generate and follow-up with all marketing and new business leads with the aim of closing deals and bringing in new business and clients, managing the end to end pipeline of marketing and leads activity and ensure it is converting to new business
Research and analyse market trends, demographics, pricing schedules, competitor products, and other relevant information to form marketing strategies
Manage the creative development of promotional materials, website content, advertisements, and other marketing-related projects, to continue to deliver a distinct and differentiated brand presence for Spark
Provide in-depth information to interested clients, and be a representative for the sales and marketing department in potential buyer meetings
The ideal candidate is Commercially driven, works in Collaboration and is highly engaged. You are bold and curious and have a creative mindset. You will need to be self-motivated, with excellent organisational skills and ability to multi-task. You will have 4-5 years hands-on experience of key digital & social channels, and experience of driving business performance through leads and prospecting activity. You will have a keen interest in market research and the benefits this can bring to our clients and a passion for the world of brands and marketing, keeping a proactive eye out for opportunities for Spark.
