Our Story

2009


Origins

Ponderosa Agency was officially launched by Richard (Midge) Midgley. 

2011


Merger

Ponderosa expanded its reach with a merger between agencies Prego*, Sixteen Hands and Grapple (previously Digital Welly). 

2012


Big Clients

Two notable Ponderosa shoots for 2012. Shooting with the Irish rugby team at the Aviva Stadium to launch the firstever black shirt for Ireland Rugby and a TV ad for PCH Prizes with the legendary Keith Chegwin.

Long-term collaborations

A firsttime collaboration between Ponderosa and ABI, crafting their holiday home brochure. And brewing up a successful UK brand launch for Crabbie’s Ginger beer.

Charity Outreach

An impactful pro-bono project. Ponderosa created the Blue Vinyl awareness campaign for Simon on the Streets

Racing ahead

Ponderosa delivered Crabbie’s three-year sponsorship for the Grand National.

Client expansion

An exciting Ponderosa client expansion adding Russell Hobbs and George Foreman.

What a score!

Ponderosa launched the Hisense FIFA World Cup Sponsorship.

Ponderosa celebrated its 10th birthday.

Hi to Hisense!

Hi! Hisense. Ponderosa launched Hisense’s first-ever UK TV Ad campaign. The Hi campaign.

More acquisitions

Ponderosa acquired Leeds-based eCommerce specialist Marvellous, Spark Market Research in Dublin and became part of Audience Collective.

2021


New websites

Targeting the higher education market, Ponderosa developed the brand and build of a new website for the newly launched Audience Collective agency Unicom.

Creative thinking

Ponderosa kicked off “Hello Good Stuff” for KCOM, celebrated a win for the Quorn Social Account and the team got their ingenuity flowing at the Ponderosa Creative Away Day with Mind UK.

After a nine-month trial Ponderosa officially launched the 9-day fortnight
