???? FACEBOOK are removing the ‘Our Story’ section from pages next month. Page owners are being prompted to move this to ‘Additional Information instead.

???? LINKEDIN are adding a Swipe Up option to their stories (about time, hey?). Users and businesses can finally link out to URL’s of their choice. As it turns out though, this isn’t available to everyone yet!

???? YOUTUBE has begun working on an update that will allow creators to tag products in their videos, enabling more eCommerce opportunities on the platform.

✨ THE RISE OF REELS

With what started off as quite a controversial ‘TikTok wannabe’, there has been a large increase of people filming Reels. It is predicted that in 2021, Reels will improve massively by:

  • Having a more sophisticated algorithm
  • Developing shoppable features
  • New and improved video editing tools.

✨ INSTAGRAM GUIDES GROWING IN POPULARITY

Initially, Instagram enabled the Guides feature for a select number of health and wellness accounts to provide information to those who are struggling during the pandemic…

Now the feature has been rolled out to all users, great for step-by-step guides, tips, recommendations, and of course – for businesses to use as a way to promote their products and services ????
