Holgates came to us in search of a brand new website...

…but as their brand had grown it had become complicated and outdated. This did not align with their 5* standards across the parks and business. With business growth acquiring new parks, the branding had become inconsistent across the parks.

The branding needed to have enough flex to span their three key audience types and different park benefits and scalability needed to accommodate the ambitions of the brand.

The heritage needed to be kept at the heart of the brand, having been an establish family run business for over 60+ years.

With a small marketing team handling most creative in-house, we also needed to consider how they could roll out new branding within their capabilities.

Holgates set out to create a website that not only reflected their refreshed brand — rooted in belonging, community, and exceptional getaways — but also delivered tangible improvements across user experience, functionality, and performance.

They needed a platform that would:

Elevate the customer experience through intuitive design and better usability

Increase conversions from holiday bookings to ownership enquiries

Strengthen performance with faster load speeds, better mobile compatibility and robust uptime

Protect long-term value by improving accessibility, SEO and compliance

Deliver emotional connection that matched the warmth and familiarity of their parks

The goal: a seamless, high-performing digital experience that felt like “escaping to where you belong.”

BETTER IDEAS

Our brand solution included:

  • Providing a set of brand guidelines outlining the refreshed brand look and feel including photography guidance, social media guidance and messaging pillars.
  • Cleaning up logos and setting clear and ownable brand fonts across campaign, digital and print.
  • Clear Dos and Don’ts to provide clarity and better integration.
  • Providing training sessions for staff members on how they can best implement the brand guidelines through Canva, including photography editing to make both their images and stock images ownable to the Holgates brand in the absence of professional editing software.

As part of our digital transformation and to meet Holgates evolving digital needs...

…we built a robust, flexible Headless website which integrated with their booking platform, ParcVu, and we used WordPress as the CMS, thus enabling both performance and future scalability.

The platform was designed to empower the Holgates team, while enhancing user experience across three core journeys: Holiday bookings, Ownership enquiries, and Local exploration.
